tvTonight - Wednesday September 4, 2008

Nothin' on tonight, really. Unless you enjoy Kitchen Nightmare (which just makes me want to never eat out again. Ever.)

ABC has repeats of Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy.
CBS has a new Big Brother (Eviction) and a CSI:CSI repeat
CW seems to be repeating 90210.
FOX, as mentioned above, has the season premier of Kitchen Nightmares (2 whole hours!)
NBC has Football and probably a dozen hours of Dateline.

tvTonight - Wednesday September 3, 2008

My Pick: Bones (Fox, smileym)

FOX - The Season (three?) premier of Bones! (smileym, Fox, Two Hours). It's two hours of Booth and Brennan in England.

ABC - Wifeswap and Supernanny repeats.

For NBC, the CW, and CBS, it's America's night...

NBC - America's Got Talent has ten more acts performing

CW - Two Hour season premier of America's Next Top Model - including a transgendered contestant.

tvTonight - Tuesday September 2, 2008

The CW brings back Beverly Hills 90210, now simply 90210. I never watched the original, and I can't think of any reason I'll be watching this show. (CW, smileym, two hour special.)

On NBC, another ten acts perform for America on America's Got Talent. (smileym or 9pm depending on your areas coverage of the Republican National Convention, NBC, two hours.) It's followed by a Dateline NBC.

tvTonight - Monday September 1, 2008

The fall TV season really starts today with three (non-reality) premiers. And only one of which is of any interest to me.

My Pick: Gossip Girl (smileym, CW)

First is Prison Break - back, yet again. The boys are sent to break into the Company this time. This show is really hit-or-miss for me, and I'll be missing this one. (Fox, smileym two hour premier.)

Then we have One Tree Hill (CW, 9pm.) I'm hearing something about Vegas and a phone call, but as I've never seen this show, I'll withhold comments.

Starting up tvTonight

Going to start up my tvTonight write-ups - basically saying what I'll be watching and following - and what shows I think are absolutely stupid. Like Knight Rider.

This got a pretty good reception last year, so I hope you'll enjoy.

(It'll run from today through at least the middle of October - longer if people keep reading!)

My So You Think You Can Dance 2008 Predictions

UPDATE AUGUST 7, 2008: Joshua was the winner! And, for a finale, it was actually quite fun. I could have done without the Jonas Brothers (and this was the first time I've actually heard them perform/sing - and I wasn't impressed) and it would have been fun to see some of the past years routine instead of that montage. But overall, a really good show that actually kept me interested! /UPDATE

What's the deal with America's Got Talent?

Seriously, how long is the audition/callback process? It's been months now since the show started, right? And they just finished the callbacks?

I lost interest a long time ago. (The stupid audience screaming didn't help much.) And my lose of interest has nothing to do with the talent. From what I've seen, there are a lot of people who are amazing at what they do. (Those young kids, while heartwarming enough, don't do anything for me - I really hope they're gone soon. Harsh, probably.)

Zinzinny - more than TV

I'm pleased to introduce my latest site, Zinzinny, a community forum for fans of TV.

Instead of just offering members a forum to post about their favorite shows, Zinzinny allows you add your favorite shows to a favorites list that others can see, which makes it easier to connect with fans with similar interests as you!

Zinzinny offers the following features:
