I'm pleased to introduce my latest site, Zinzinny, a community forum for fans of TV.
Instead of just offering members a forum to post about their favorite shows, Zinzinny allows you add your favorite shows to a favorites list that others can see, which makes it easier to connect with fans with similar interests as you!
First it was a gay kiss on the American soap opera As The World Turns that made many a conservative take up pitchforks and torches and attempted to symbolically storm the gates of Procter & Gamble and CBS. But now As the World Turns has taken things a step further.
I've been getting some comments reminding me that America's Got Talent's new season starts tonight.
So, who's glad it's back? Is it better than American Idol? Do you think a singer is going to win this year? Or do we get a new twist on the great Terry Fator?
One nasty aspect of humanity that comes to light because of shows like American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance is this uncanny need for attention. Most people are well-developed mentally enough that we get our attention from those around us. (Or online... errr... welll... hmmmm...) But these days people are clambering for attention in the most unlikely of places - the reality TV show audition process.
Wow. I heard that someone was going to get badly hurt in a bombing during tonight's episode, but by the looks of that SUV, I'm sure that whoever it was would probably wish they were dead.
So who was it?
Personally, I hope it's David Rossi. I like that character - who is strikingly different than Gideon was - but I can't stand Joe Mantegna's acting on the show. Everything about him is 'off' - especially his line readings.
