Lost Will End in 2010

Lost will be on the air until 2010, tvguide.com reports.

There will be 48 more episodes of the series, aired over three seasons of 16 episodes. (16 episodes per year.)

Now that they have a goal for the endgame of the series, they need to work on getting back the audience that they lost (no pun intended) at the beginning of season three (the Other season) and getting new fans to watch the show.

Lost - May 2 - The Brig

Didn't Locke once say "The Island demands a sacrifice?" Well, a sacrifice was made tonight.

And it's not the death I was hoping for but rather the death that was due.

And what a death scene it was.

Lost Death Watch 2007

At least five characters are going to die before the end of the third season of Lost. Who will be visited by the Grim Reaper? It's really anyone's guess. And since I'm anyone, I'll take a stab (no pun intended) at it.

Below are the characters with the percent chance I give them of getting killed before the end of the season. Below that are the reasons I gave each character that score. I'll update the Death Watch as they happen, but I'll keep my original predictions intact.

Someone Dies on Lost Tonight

I love scoop on Lost.

Someone will die tonight, leaving at least four more to die over the next few weeks.

I could speculate, but knowing what happened over the last few episodes, I'll most likely not even be in the ballpark. But hey, it's worth a try.

We know that Locke returns to ask Sawyer to kill his dad, who mysteriously appeared on the island. Is Sawyer being set up to die? Does he kill Locke's dad? Is Locke's dad the death? Or maybe Alex dies. Then again, Charlie is due to die sometime soon, anyway. Maybe tonight's the night.

The Future of Lost (season three)

***UPDATE: Just wrote a little write up on the finale of season three. Wow.

/UPDATE***

Sometimes I wonder how many of the creative minds behind Lost read my rantings? Anyways....

Just a few things regarding the last few episodes of Lost this season.

From TVguide.com we've got the list of the last few flashbacks:

Lost - April 25 - D.O.C.

"Dude," I said to myself, "Eye-Patch Russian Guy was dead!"

And Hurley confirmed that he was dead.

So what the hell?

In fact I pretty much said that throughout the entire episode.

Lost - April 18 - Catch-22

Penny (falling) from heaven.

At least, that's what we were led to believe would happen for the hour. Instead we get another surprise (like last week's bitch moment at the end.)

If you haven't seen this episode yet, let this sentence serve as a spoiler warning.

Considering the island, if Desmond didn't save Charlie's life, would Penny have been on the island? It's that island box thing. That'll probably tear at Desmond, since Penny is looking for him. He knows that.

(And I missed what that woman said at the end.)

Lost - April 11 - One of Us

SPOILER ALERT if you haven't seen this episode yet.

(And this is my first post on my new Mac Mini!)

That Bitch!

I spent an hour caring about Juliet only to hate her in the last minute.

But I have to admit, it was quite the ruse.

So what happens in a week? That seems to be the new question to add to the cache of questions that Lost gives us.

But answers? Well, we found out about Claire... or did we? Actually, no.

Lost April 4 - Left Behind

To me this episode had that first season vibe. Remember back then, when this show was on a lot of people's "Favorite Show" list? The Black Cloud Nanite Security System was back, and fun to see. But it knew who Juliet was, I think. At least, that may be what the flashes were on her face.

So here's some general thoughts, followed by some general questions.

Catfight on Lost tonight?

I seriously want to see a catfight between Juliet and Kate tonight. I mean, really going at each other.

And I hope it's over Jack.

(I'm wondering if I'm the only one who still cares about Lost....)
