A new planet (almost) next door?

Now this is just über-cool. Maybe one day America will fund its space program so we could get out there. (Or at least send little Beagles and such.) (But at the rate things are going now, China will probably get there first.)

Anyway, from the BBC:

Astronomers have found the most Earth-like planet outside our Solar System to date, a world which could have water running on its surface.

The planet orbits the faint star Gliese 581, which is 20.5 light-years away in the constellation Libra

C-3PO's head found on the moon?

Check out Enterprise Mission and see the head our astronauts found on the moon.

(I make no guarantees that it is infact C-3PO's head on the moon. It could be Data. After all, who knows how many Data heads are out there.)

Pluto's Been Demoted

And Micky and Donald are worried smiley .

Really, I don't understand what all the flack is about. So the former planet Pluto is now a Dwarf Planet. Big Deal. So we now have only eight 'real' planets orbiting around the sun. (Probably used to be nine real if the asteroid belt was a 'real' planet.)

It's just a renaming. If you're into astrology and are worried about what happens to you since you were born under Pluto.... it's still there. It's just the scientific designation that's changed.
