ohmygod... Michael is the man that Ben has on the freighter! At least that's what everyone's being made to believe. That little almost-reveal of Michael at the end of this episode was wild, especially coupled with Sayid's look.
When Locke asked Ben who his man on the freighter was, Ben said that it would blow his mind if he told him. I have a feeling that that was a nod to the viewers and not to Locke. And it's something that should have been back in the viewers minds all along - after all, Harold Perrineau has been in the opening credits all season long. But then again, this is Lost. It could be Locke's father, back from the dead.
Another reveal was Charles Widmore (Penny's father) as the man behind the freighter's mission. He wants to use the island for monetary gain. (And I mentioned that he was involved before.) So the Penny-Desmond-Charles triangle continues to evolve.
I wasn't all that interested in the Juliet-Goodwin plot. It didn't add much, and seemed more like filler. I'm sure that Goodwin's wife, I forget her name, will come back and there will be another catfight - this time between her and Juliet. Probably involving guns and one of them ending up dead.
Ben's obsession with Juliet seemed odd and disturbing. We know he doesn't kill Jack because of it, but will he kill Juliet?
