I'd say it was a pretty good year in the weight loss department. But I still have a few more inches to shed from my waist.
I need to get back to exercising. Haven't done that regularly in a couple months. Plus the holidays were a killer for me food wise. Too much good stuff! So for now I need to focus on exercising and watching what I eat... which is the cornerstone of all weight loss programs.

The Root Cause of Most Weight Loss Difficulties...
New research has identified several species of parasites and a specific type of goopy plaque that if left in your bowels makes you fat, bloated, developing a pouch and spare-tire belly.
This is the root cause of people’s obesity -- fortunately, this research also reveals how to stop it. It further explains that the same cause of why people get fat is also the same reason why people eventually get sick and die prematurely -- often cutting off years from their lives (not to mention the quality of their lives).
No matter how much most people diet or exercise, they still cannot lose the weight and the flab, if this root problem isn't successfully addressed.
On the other hand, people who flush these parasites out, often report sudden weight losses up to 100 lbs or more -- and without changing a single thing about their diets.
Cheers,
Trevor

I'd be more inclined...
I'd be more inclined to not treat your comment as spam if you actually named the parasite in question - or gave links links to sites other than your spammy sounding site. (And you actually sound like that idiot Kevin Troudou (spelling is wrong, I know, but I'm not in the mood to look him up.)
But if there is a parasite in your bowels, it makes the high-fiber diet more appealing - cleaning you out regularly.

Dieting and loosing weight
Dieting and loosing weight is all bout feeling good about yourself. Forcing your self to diet goes contrary to what dieting is all about. Loosing weight is a bout making effort and taking the extra step. But if someone doesn’t understand the basis, there will be lack of motivation.

Lost weight fast
If you are looking to drop a few pounds fast, have a look on the low carbs diet such as Atkins Diet and South Beach which is very popular among dieters.

Low Carb Diets are Stupid
Okay, not really stupid, but your body needs carbs. Just make them the whole-grain, high fiber variety and you'll be fine. (Avoid white, enriched foods at all costs!)

Dieting....
Dieting is all about staying focused to the one and only goal. Determination is the key to loosing weight. Without making the decision and sticking to it there is no chance for success.

Re: Atkins and South Beach
I love the comments, may I add that although Atkins was close to the mark, he fell short when he took out complex carbs in the first 2 weeks of his diet. It left people feeling weak and sick. South Beach is extremely expensive! Anyway, they were really close. If only they had stressed adding complex carbs these diets would have won hands down.

don't forget the fat
Atkins dieters needs to reduce the amount of saturated fats in their diet or else end up like Dr. Atkins - dead. And add complex carbs - whole grains.
That would make it healthy.
But it wouldn't make it Atkins any more. It would make it a sensible diet.

7 pounds?
Wasn't the average weight loss of those diets just 7 to 12 pounds in a year?
That's a failure in my book. I can lose that in a couple months by eating right and exercising - and not by jumping on the Atkins bandwagon - which, I feel, is one of the more dangerous diets out there.
Eat right, exercise, and you'll lose weight.
