A couple days ago I put on an old pair of Dockers and they fit perfectly! I didn't even have to suck in my stomach to button it! Plus, I now have to wear a belt with my favorite pair of jeans!

Looking at my numbers of the past few weeks, I can really see that I'm consistent. A pound a week is fine for me, but that quarter inch a week in my belly is what I'm really happy to see! If I can keep that going, I'll be happy! And at this rate, I should be at 32" by just after the New Year.

I've started back on my daily walks (30 minutes/4000 steps). (May try to do them twice a day.) And have been doing my workouts, too. (Three times a week, 20-30 minutes each.)

I've been eating breakfast every day. Usually cereal with a good amount of fiber. (I refuse to eat oatmeal.) I've made myself accustomed to Grape Nuts, as long as there's a banana in there. (I usually say I'm eating a banana rolled in grape nuts with milk.) And I think I'm doing okay on fiber in my diet. I think I'm getting about 15-20 grams a day; the 'experts' say we need about 30 grams. I think I'm getting more than most Americans.

No major pit falls this past week. I haven't waited too long for snacking (getting my three snacks in after my three meals.) I just read The Mediterranean Diet and am looking for ways to get more vegetables and fruits into my diet. (And legumes.) I've requested the Mediterranean Diet Cookbook from my library, so when that comes I'll check out some more recipes.

This week I still need to work on drinking more water. I have a gallon bottle of water sitting behind me; I just need to bring a glass in here!
