This is a bad day. It started off bad and didn't improve much. In fact, my lunch, which should have been my cheat meal, was probably the best choice food-wise I made all day.
The first of the month is always hectic. I drive my mom around (she doesn't have a car) to do errands. Add to that I had a headache all day, and skipped by evening workout - which I shouldn't have done - made for bad choices. But the nice thing about this is I can always start again!
Breakfast was a cup of yogurt and a banana. I ran out of cereal, so I had to improvise. And I improvised badly. (Toast or eggs would have been a better choice.) By noon, I was starving. Stomach growling starving, which isn't good.) But by that time I was sitting in a Mexican restaurant.
Lunch was going to be my cheat meal. (Every once in a while, you've got to do this.) So sitting in the restaurant I had that bowl of tortilla chips. I had about half a dozen. Or lunch I ordered a grilled chicken breast. It came with refried beans and rice, and that pile of lettuce and sour cream. I ate about half of the chicken (using flour torillas - I don't like corn torillas) and some of the rice and the lettuce. (I took the other half of the chicken home.)
The afternoon was coffee and water. Dinner was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
At midnight I had some popcorn and ended the day with a cup of milk.
Again, not a good day.
