House Season Three Finale - Human Error
For a while now I've thought that House was too predictable. He'd get a patient that they couldn't diagnose, but would eventually solve the case after something a clinic patient said or something he said to a patient. It was very formulaic.
But tonights episode didn't follow the formula.
Instead, we had a patient that died on House, only to come back again.
And in the process, he lost his staff.
Chase was fired and Cameron resigned after the whole ordeal (which I found surprising.) Foreman's notice was up and he packed up and left.
Which leaves next year up in the air.
If Chase and Cameron don't come back, that'll be okay. I like the two of them, but House needs a change of pace before it becomes stale.
And I guess the real question is, what's the human error the title refers to? Since Foreman's operation wasn't an error, it has to be House's actions.
And House isn't one to learn from his mistakes.

I really like the House
I really like the House series but I just don't get the season finale you are right it needs a change of pace, but I thought Foreman leaving would do it but I guess well see maybe they need a few new faces, but I feel sorry for those actors they were all doing well, I particularly like Chase. Well that's my thoughts

A lot of the scripts were forumlaic - but then so many other series are as well.
I guess there is a limited amount of 'furniture arranging' you can do with a cast and situation.
Still love it though

formulaic indeed
I've posted here before about how formulaic the show was. But when I came down to it, you didn't watch the show for the cool medical mysteries they presented, but you watched it for Dr. House.
And Cameron and Chase and Forman.
Now Cameron and Chase are relegated to near guest-star status. Which is a shame. Hope they come back for more screen time when the show returns this spring.
