some people have been saying that this season has "jumped the shark." I personally don't think so. I think it heads the series into new, darker territory and I'm actually enjoying it.
Of course, every episode brings up new questions. But that's lost for ya!
I was just discussing that very thing with a friend of mine the other day. Personally, I think its the best season so far. You finally get a hint of what is really going on, the camp is divided and its definitely darker. Looks like most people agree with me according to your poll.
After Desmond's episode, The Constant (which I think may be one of the best Lost episodes ever), I have to say I agree. There's a real momentum building - one that we lost in season three. Things are coming together.
Unfortunately the Desmond episode was followed by the Juliet episode which was just ho-hum.
I'm expecting great things in the next few episodes.
Look out Marty, we have to go back to the future. Look we can make an island go back in time, or forward, or rather just disappear to some but be in a time cycle for others. Lame Lame Lame. I want my 4 years back. Shark Jump = yes. What a shame. They really could have stuck to trying to at least making it realistic instead of just saying the hell with it, we are now a science fiction show. Pretty soon Jack will have light sables and Sawyer will make the kessel run from bounty hunters. Damn it I hate what they did to theis show.
I had hoped that after the long lasting writers strike that Lost would come back with some great new plot twists and gut wrenching excitement. I am still waiting for both.

hmmm....
I would say no to season 4. If anything it seems lost is back on track after being all over the place in previous seasons.

Definitely an example of wasting a good product

Yes it has jumped about 7 sharks
I couldn’t get through this last episode. This show pretty much blows now. There was always season 1.

Well...
I think after season 3... I just lost interest. This is something that keeps happening with good series, they really don't know when to stop.
