Gnothi Seauton means know thyself.
Oh, time paradoxes. I've posted before about my problems with time-travel and Heroes. And now this question keeps bothering me: Which John Connor is in the future and is the leader of mankind - the John Connor that was sending Terminahnold back in T2 or the John Connor that jumped 7 years in the future last night? Or has it always been the Time-Lagged John? As in, the Leader of Mankind John has always known he jumped ahead in time. But that can't be possible, since Sarah died two years ago and John became a drunk druggie who couldn't lead a pack of poodles let alone an army.
And if it is Time-Lagged John, then he wouldn't have known that Sarah died, so it has to be regular time John. But having a younger John would just screw things up.
I think I need a drink.
Questions, questions and more questions!
Anyway, I enjoyed this episode a lot more than the pilot (which was a class on Terminator 101... errr, T-100?) Not as action packed, and with a much slower pace than I thought a show like this would, this show is slowly building up momentum, getting characters in place (both good guys and bad guys and those we're not sure of - Enrique selling out Connor? And what happened to Yolinda?) Charlie, Sarah's ex-lover. The FBI agent. The resistance fighter still running around town. That Terminator out to kill the resistance fighters.
And how the hell did that Terminator head get through the time dialation field intact. Wouldn't the exposed metal keep it from going through? Or did it just travel on the edge of the field? (Was the Terminator's head not on right at the end?
And is John really that stupid? Seeing mom's ex-lover Charlie?
There was that little comedic break. (I'm not talking about Cameron and Sarah outside of Enrique's cousins brothers former roomate's house (missed that guys name), but Cameron's "Please Remain Calm" to that family after her head is thrown through the car's windshield.
Another question! (This is beginning to feel like a Lost post!) When does "this John" become "that John?" Cameron says she takes orders from John in the future, but not this John. So is this series about "this John" becoming "that John?"
