Question about Star Wars Episode Three

So George Lucas meant to tell me that, despite all the technological wonders presented in the Star Wars saga, Anakin's wife didn't have an ultrasound as part of her pre-natal work? Or did I miss something?

(This thought should be filed under 'stuff I think about while brushing my teeth')

Wordpress 2.0 Beta Released

Wordpress did a move that surprised me. They are releasing (it appears) their next version as 2.0 instead of 1.6. (You can get it here).

I played around with the 1.6 alpha (nightly) releases and all I can say is: Oh.

Despite some changes to the database, a reformatted "Write Post" page (which is nice), and an image upload feature for posts, there really isn't that much to go nuts over. I mean, it's nice and all, but it's not a jump to 2.0. That should have been saved for when they get the Page feature to actually work well.

John Sheridan

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

I can live with this. (And apparently
Wil Wheaton is John Sheridan
, too.)

Has Weird Al Yankovic Ruined Your Life?

On Weird Al Yankovic 46th birthday (he was born on October 23, 1959) I have to ask this question: Has Weird Al ruined music for you?

Spymac Update

Over the summer, Spymac touted their new features and look that would be coming in September. Well, it's October, and it's time to see how they're doing.

A Very Long Engagement

There are some movies that you look at the poster or the DVD cover and you know what you're in for. Then there are movies like A Very Long Engagement. At first, it looks like it's going to be your standard Romance/Chick Flick. But it's not. It's a drama, set in 1917-20 France during and after the first World War.

We're engaged. Luckily we wont have to wait until the end of the war. Now I can go straight home after [my] execution.

I Want to Like Spymac

I want to like Spymac. Really, I do. It's a fun online community. But they can't communicate. Clearly communicate, that is.

Spymac is going through a transition period right now, with a major website overhaul. It was supposed to be done September 1st. (I think at this point they still have an hour.)

Checking their site, they came up with this notice:

I'm an Angel

Who'da thunk it. Me an angel. (Of course, I tied with Faerie.... but demon did come in 3rd....)

Christian Copyright

Whilst surfing the web today looking up Toaism and Buddhism, I came across the site, ExposingSatanism.org.

What I thougth was funny was the copyright disclaimer which prohibits non-christians from using their work unless approved by the webmaster/writer.
