Misguided Thoughts

Premier week still continues!

Flash Forward is probably one of my most anticipated new shows this year. Just getting a glimpse of your future can be a pretty radical experience. (I'd probably be bored by my flash forward.) The m timeslot seems a bit early for a show like this; especially going against Bones.

Premier Week continues!

Now, most of the shows I care almost nothing about. Cougar Town and Modern Family sound somewhat entertaining, though I wonder if ABC can pull off new comedies. Eastwick, about witches, doesn't interest me.

Old Christine and Gary Unmarried are two comedies I've not watched. (I'm not a fan of comedies - they're usually not that funny.)

Forget Dancing! NCIS returns and NCIS: Los Angeles premiers! I don't have as high a hope for LA, it still should be fun.

Premier week. Lot's of good TV to watch! (And Dancing with the Stars, too, so I guess they can't all be winners )

m - Dancing with the Stars - Season Premier
10pm - Castle - Season Premier

It's Emmy night! And it should be a decent show with Neil Patrick Harris hosting. Of course, anything would be better than the reality show hosting they had before. Even Rosie O'donnell would have been better than that. But with Neil, it should be fun.

ABC - King Kong - 7pm - an actually good Jack Black movie.

CBS - 60 Minutes (7pm) and the Primetime Emmy Awards at m.

Ah, the weekend.

ABC

M - ALMA Awards - special - Hispanic achievement awards
10PM - 20/20 - NEW

The new TV series really begins to pick up steam tonight! Fox has the season premiers of both Bones and Fringe. NBC's comedy lineup is all new, too.

CW has new Vampire Diaries and Supernatural and CBS gives us the premier of Survivor: Samoa. (Can't say I'm into Survivor.)

Discovery, however, seems to be getting desperate for reality shows. Tonight it has Man Vs. Fish. Seriously. Catfish.

It's kinda sad when my best picks for a night includes The Beautiful Life. ABC has its reality shows (of which I'm not a fan) and CBS gives us repeats gearing up for next week. (I think a few shows will have their season premier then).

NBC has America's Got Talent. I've been avoiding this show ever since I heard Hasselhoff was going to sing. Actually, it was earlier than that. Like, before the season began.

TV Tonight Tuesday September 15, 2009

In the reality show irony department, we have the season premier of Biggest Loser, where people strive to lose weight and live better, and the season fine of More to Love, which I've never seen but seems to say being fat and waiting to die of congestive heart failure is perfectly fine.

So Monday's The Jay Leno Show had the idiot Kanye West. Tonight's show (no pun intended) has the idiot Tom Cruise. Yeah, Jay's show is off to a great start. (And I like Jay!)

TV Tonight Monday September 14, 2009

Tonight is The Jay Leno Show's debut, and we get to find out if NBC made the right decision. (Personally, I think that he should still be the host of the Tonight Show.) And of course one of his first guests is the idiot Kanye West.

House repeats the two episode finale from last season in which House sees dead people, and has hallucinatory sex.

Finally, Gossip Girl returns with its season premier. Let the college beer pong games begin!
