Gee, I wonder what the number 1 show on tv will be tonight? Homeland Security USA? ha! NCIS? Probably #2 in that hour. American Idol? Duh.
I really have no aspirations to watch AI this year, even with the fourth judge. I usually watch some of the auditions (the best part of the series for me) but this year I may just go on an anti-Idol crusade. Or try to ignore it. Unless, near the end, there's someone worth rooting for.
Maybe it's just me, but this seems to be a lackluster Monday. I know, you're probably thinking I'm a bit crazy. After all, 24 is on. And the Bachelor, too. Then there's the Superstars of Dance. But honestly, I'm not a fan of any of those shows. (That's right, I've never really gotten into 24.)
Sigh.
At least Gossip Girl is new. And there's a new Samantha Who? on ABC. And CBS is all new (though I'm not a comedy fan.) At leas the rest of the week gets a lot better!
Flashpoint returns tonight! This show was my favorite this past summer. (Yes it's a 'cop' show, but not really a procedural; it follows a group of hostage negotiators/cops -but much better than FOX's Standoff of a couple years ago- called the Strategic Response Unit. I like to think of it as a workplace drama, much like ER was years ago before that show became a caricature of itself.) And isn't Hugh Dillon amazing in this show?
Just read on the drupal.org message board a post that pretty much shows how godaddy hosting only cares about one thing: money.
They're willing to help fix a problem one of their users is having, but for $150.00.
I use godaddy.com for my domain names, but I would never host with them. (They really are the K-Mart of hosting. Or worse.) Now I know never to use them to host any website.
Eh, it's Wednesday. Wednesdays just don't seem the same without Pushing Daisies. (Gee, thanks ABC.) CBS gives us the People's Choice Awards that kicks off Award Season. And NBC disgraces the airwaves with Knight Rider. Shame.
If you're not a People's Award fan, the best thing that's new tonight is probably the CW's "13 Fear is Real." Yeah, it's that bad tonight.
Ah, Thursday! Tonight ABC and NBC give us mostly new programs (with the exception of The Office.) CBS and CW are having rerun night, and FOX has college football.
ABC Ugly Betty (m, NEW) - Bernadette Peters guests as a YETI editor. (Did Peters' agent call her up and say "Hey, B, we want you to play a YETI?")
Wasn't Craig Ferguson absolutely fabulous on Password? I mean, who could imagine a Scotsman being that brilliant while sober? (I would make an "assuming he was sober" comment, but wont.)
If Betty White is the Queen of Password, Craig is its King. Nothing against Barney Neil Patrick Harris, but Craig rules. (I guess Neil and Craig could fight over Password Court Jester.)
