Thoughts on Lost for Jan 18
Some random thoughts for the episode "The Hunting Party."
- Noticed that Jack didn't have his tattoo during the flashback.
- So we saw the Others. Well, the same Other we saw on the boat. And about a day away from the Survivors. Not really the neighbors you want.
- What's the connection to the Others and Dharma? Are they a part of Dharma, or the reason behind the outside being in Quarantine? (Big Bad Guy said that the Survivors 'Opened doors they shouldn't have.')
- If Sayid kept walking along the coast, he would probably have run into the others, or at least their boat. So is this Locke's Fate at work here, with Sayid finding Rousseau instead of working his way around the island in season one?
- Locke and Rousseau. I just got that.
- Is Michael going to start IMing the Hatch now?
- Doesn't Jack realize that Kate saved their lives? If she hadn't been captured and held hostage, Jack most likely would have done something stupid and been killed.
- Speaking of something stupid: An army? That's not going to go well.

I really have to commend the writing teams work. As the
seasons continue to unfold the individual story lines and charater
creation is still developing right on que. Nothing is really over dramatic
to the point where you get sick of the character personalities...Each
one is easily identified and easy for most to identify or relate to on
at least one or more levels. Its also an achievment to keep it fun and
suspensful for such a long time, most shows would tend to get dragged out
or boring but the overlapping of character build up and story play a very
balanced roll in keeping your interest and focus tied in to seek clues
and resolve. I just cant get enough and I must admit I am usually critical
of these types of shows for lacking realism and enough punch but this truly
seems to have it all. As a matter of fact I find myslef thinking out the
story and trying to make heads or tails of it each and everyday as I am at
work. I feel that its been the best show I have viewed in many many years.
I hope the writers pair up again in the future to colaberate on another project
or movie. Congrats to all involved....BRAVO!!!
