While I didn't catch all of this episode, I did watch most of it. And it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
That's right. I liked it. Yes, it was confusing. Yes, I didn't really understand what was going on. And yes, it reminded me of Quantum Leap.
In fact, if the producers want to stop the comparisons to QL they need to remove the dates from the title sequence. Quantum Leap did the same thing. But, as I think about it, they probably want the comparison.
As for the confusion, I think it's what we expect now. We don't know why Dan is traveling through time. Or how. But a lot of TV today doesn't explain things. Like Lost. We're along for the ride. And in the late 80s, Quantum Leap told us from the beginning what was going on, and we had a link to the current time - which was our future then, in Al. In Journeyman, we get Olivia.
And I have to say the show was much better than CSI:Miami and the tripe that ABC had on, The Bachelor.
I'm definitely going to give Journeyman another chance.
