NuclearBB

nuclearbb logoWould you believe it? Yet another forum system! NulcearBB, still in alpha, is available.

While it looks just like every other phpbb-like sytem, I do have to say that I'm glad the developers didn't use blue for their site.

I really don't see it's resemblance to the design of phpBB.

It would seem that any connection that you've made between the appearance is the rounded corners - and that's it. The colours used by phpBB are bland but clear - NuclearBB uses deep blues and gradient effects presumably to ease the eyes when it comes to browsing the forums - phpBB is just white, arguably pretty bad for the eyes late at night.

I downloaded NuclearBB and personally, I like it - it's design is pretty sweet, it's got a load of features and it's still in development - suggesting to me that this software could turn out to be phpBB quality in time.
