Before Thoughts:
Tonight's episode focuses on Charlie and has everyone wondering if he'll actually die tonight.
For months now, we've been teased that he will eventually end up on "Boone Hill." And I'm thinking that he will. If not, it will be a let down if it's not explained why he didn't die and what repercussions that has for everyone else.
I've already read that we wont see if Locke is dead or not. (I doubt he is.)
As for the Others, they're about to attack... next week.
After Thoughts:
The moral of this episode is that you should listen to your Scottish friend who can see the future.
Desmond proposed that the reason he sees Charlie dieing is because he is supposed to step in and do what Charlie would do. (It sounded like a destiny/fate thing.) (But it doesn't explain the lightening that would have killed Charlie.)
So if Desmond went into the Looking Glass station, would he have been able to turn off the yellow button and avoid meeting up with the guards? (Again, if he had let Charlie die in the jungle, would Penny have fallen from the sky instead of Naomi?)
Overall, a nice episode. Nothing really happened; it was more of the calm before the storm of the next episode, the season finale, Through the Looking Glass.
And what a finale it should be! Everything goes wrong. And people will die.
