The 2007 PortAll Update

(PortAll is one of my dead horses that I'm continuing to beat.)

The Timeline:

April 2005 I learned of a new Content Management System called PortAll. It looked interesting.

January 10, 2006, I wrote my post Is PortAll Sunk? nine months after I heard about the project.

March/April 2006 I get comments saying that the project was still on, so...

April 7, 2006, I wrote PortAll CMS is Sailing Fine.

May 7th, 2007, eleven months later, still nothing. The site is still up, but nothing has changed.

I hadn't seen this post until just today...

Again, although the page has not been updated, yes, PortAll is still being actively worked on. Unlike other CMS' (Which, by the way, are all crap in my honest opinion) PortAll is being developped with usability, user interactivty and overall quality in mind, not just "Something to blog with".

I have been included in the PortAll project for some time now, and I can tell you right now that even in it's current Pre-Release stage, it trumps all other CMS' out there, by far.

If you would like to see an update on Portall, go here: http://www.jcxp.net/2.0/
