Avoid Nuke-Host Web Hosting

Tagged as:

This page is to warn you about a web host called Nuke-Host. Their site is
http://www.nuke-host.com/index.php

I signed up with Nuke-Host on April 1st, 2004. They were inexpensive and offered what I needed. I had no problems with my site, so I didn't need to contact them.
But when I needed their service, they weren't there.

Essentially Nuke-Host is a bad company who would love to have your money and offer you no help. They have an online help system, but they don't use it.
Want to send them an email request? Don't bother, it wont be answered. I did both, and haven't heard from them.

On July 1st my account was suspended. I forgot to add money to the back account
I fund my site with. I paid the same day. But my account wasn't reactivated.
I went to their credit card processor for help. They emailed Nuke-Host, but
Nuke-Host didn't even respond to the credit card company! (It's been over a
week!)

And 8 days later my account was still suspended.

Thankfully, this is being handled by 2checkout.com. But I suggest that anyone thinking about Nuke-Host as a host should look elsewhere, and if you are with Nuke-Host, cancel
your account and look elsewhere.

But don't take my word for it. Below are two screenshots I just took (July 9th,
2004, 8pm Pacific). They are from Nuke-Host's own support ticket system. I think
you'll get the idea: Avoid Nuke-Host.
