Kidnapped is available on DVD.
It seems that NBC will be cancelling Kidnapped, but allowing 13 episodes to be completed and aired... sometime. (Kudos to NBC for doing that! )
Kidnapped is one of my favorite new series this year. It's another in a long line of 'elengated' serials like Lost and PrisonBreak where the show is basically about one storyline. Kidnapped's story revolved around the kidnapping of the son of a wealthy New York businessman. But what made this series different from Vanished, which is about a Senator's wife being kidnapped, is that Kidnapped has two storylines going; the New York 'cop' based story dealing with how to get the kid back, and the story of the boy being kidnapped. I really thought this show had potential. Maybe a better timeslot would have helped.
Vanished actually killed the lead character. And that made the show a little better. Anyway, Fox is moving Vanished to Fridays. (Does any network do well on Fridays besides the basic cable Sci-Fi channel?) And there's something about Vanished being paired up with Nanny 911 that doesn't bode well.
When I first heard about Justice, all I could think of what, oh great, another lawyer show. And I still feel that way. It's a different take on the lawyer genre, showing the case from the defendants position, then showing "what actually happened." It's a nice twist, and interesting characters, but apparently not doing that well in the ratings. But Fox did order a few more episodes, so that may be a sign it'll be on the air for a few more months.
(The title of this article was brought to you with the help of Roget's Thesaurus which I actually got the word 'Jelling' from.)
