MyBB turns 1.2

The developers at MyBB have finally released version 1.2 of the forum script.

I did an upgrade on a test site and it went smoothly. Everything seemed to work. Since I don't use any other mods, I don't have to worry about those not being compatible. Themes and templates, however, are a different problem. It'll take a few days before I can get around to re-theme my forum. I think I'll also finally develop my theme into a public version. (That should make at least one person happy Smiling )

And the MyBB group has lightened up on their use license, which should make those anal "OpenSource means you can do anything you damn well want with it" people a bit happier. Not completely happy, mind you. Actually, it probably wont.

You can see MyBB 1.2 in action in their community forums.
