I caught the series premier of the new Fox show Justice last night. It's about a law firm that defends high-profile people. It takes a look at things from the defense's point of view. Which is much different than you'd find on Law & Order.
I actually thougth it was pretty good for a premier. But will it stand out over time?
There are four lawyers. And we really know nothing about them. Will there personal lives be mentioned and followed? How will the producers make sure we care about the lawyers, not just the clients they represent? (And will they avoid the cliche about having one of their own be put on trial - most likely the older, annoying one [and was it me or did he have a larger left ear?] - or stick with other people?)
I think this show will last the year. Might even be picked up for a second season.
And hasn't Kerr Smith grown up from his Dawson's Creek days?
