Just Some Random Thoughts

I ran over a opossum a couple nights ago as it was crossing the highway. The whole thing went down like this:

  1. I see the opossum.
  2. My brain kicks in and I think "Oh, it's a opossum."
  3. BuBumb.

A few months ago I ran over a rabbit. But those have been my only two kills of mammals.

I drink way too much coffee. Seriously. Starbucks loves me.

As someone commented on my last TT post, yes, I am a packrat. Trying to recover. Really.

I had a college roommate who was a messie. Seriously messy. You had to wade through his bedroom to get to the other side. We rented a place off-campus and the ground rule was that the common areas had to be clean. And it mostly worked.

I had to teach him that garbage bags in the kitchen trash container were a good thing.

Land of Midnight is coming soon.

I should have my new Wordpress theme out in a couple weeks. Stay tuned.

Pat Robertson still makes me sick.

Been wanting to watch "The Chronicles of Narnia" DVD. I rented it from netflix about a month ago and still haven't gotten around to watching it.

Since I posted on preacher kids having sex I've been getting a lot of search engine hits from people searching for "sex with kids" and such. Most of them from MSN. Therefor it seems if you use microsoft you're a pervert :)

I'm writing this post on my microsoft windows computer. :(

i don't always follow proper capitalization rules.

There's a lot of coffee drinking in this house as well. I think we should just invest in an IV because then, I wouldn't have to listen to the drip, drip, drip of coffee twenty-four/seven.

Have a great Thursday, and my list is available for your viewing pleasure should you so desire.

I actually came here via your complaint post about people not having a way for non-members to comment. I'm totally with you on that one. I really liked your list, it made me smile. I actually found your bit about running over the oppossum really funny, because it's happened to me the same way. I can't STAND to run over animals, it just gives me the creeps from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. Even if it's an animal that's clearly dead and has been run over 50 times already. Anyway, I just wanted to leave you a comment, so maybe you'll stop by and see my blog. Ta for now dahling!

@zeus: I tend to panic when the coffee maker beeps that the two hours are up. I can't drink a whole pot in two hours, so I rush to the kitchen to turn it on again so it doesn't get cold. Nothing worse than reheating your coffee in the microwave. Too bitter.

@Pink: I hear you on the roadkill. I tend to shiver when driving over a dead animal. Funny TT you had, by the way! Elevators are one of the most uncomfortable places for humans to be.

@KT: I'll try to watch Narnia this weekend and report back!
