Vanished 8-28 And Gale Harold Rumors.
The second episode was a definate improvement. It went from meh to eh.
The first 20 minutes were great. Non-stop action in the spirit of 24. Then came the rest. 40 minutes of drudgery.
I'm almost at the point where I don't care who kidnapped Sara Collins. Or whoever she is. (Although it's probably the Senator's Aide.)
More interesting than the show are the rumors that Gale Harold, who plays the lead FBI investigator, will be killed in Episode 7. Read Here and Here.
But this show will probably be cancelled before November.

It's agonizing to watch this show, and Gale Harold's death may be the result of suicide if he has to appear in more of this dreck. He did such a wonderful acting job in Queer as Folk, but the writing in Vanished is nothing more than a string of acronyms and buzzwords...and what is it with "good to go!" Repeated enought time to be a clue. X files had more believable plots. I don't think the FBI allows facial hair, either, at least not a unshaven growth.
